You are grabbing coffee between meetings when your phone sends a notification. Your AirTag, the one you keep in your travel bag, appears to be a few blocks away. You are standing still. Your bag is on your shoulder. The uncertainty is often more unsettling than the notification itself.
There are innocent explanations. A tracker can be detected from a nearby delivery, a passing vehicle, or someone sitting close to you. There are also situations where an unfamiliar Bluetooth tracker has been placed in or near your belongings. The first step is to gather more information before you decide what the signal means.
Move to a safe, public place and check the items you are carrying. Look through pockets, luggage compartments, and the underside of bags without putting yourself at risk. Then scan the immediate area for nearby Bluetooth devices. A directional scan can help you understand whether the signal is moving with you or simply passing through the same space.
YourSweep uses Bluetooth detection and compass guidance to help you understand what is nearby. It does not replace your phone's built-in tracker alerts, but it gives you another way to check your immediate surroundings when an alert leaves you with questions.
The goal is not to spend the day looking over your shoulder. It is to replace uncertainty with a sensible check, then continue with your plans when the environment is clear.
